Ugandan won Gothenburg race in Sweden

     Jackson Kiprop from Uganda won the Gothenburg race where a total of 64,169 participated from all over the world. He completed the race in 01:03:13. On second place was Peter Kuriu from Kenya and Ghirmay Ghebreslassie from Eritrea came third. Best among the Swedish runners was Mikeal Ekwall and Isabella Andersson.

     Jackson Kiprop was the first to reach the finish line goal while Mikeal Ekwall, the fastest among the Swedish runner finished 01:06:08 and came 13th in overall. During an interview Mikeal said that he was satisfied with his performance. While best among the women is Isabella Ochichi from Kenya, who ran 01:11:29, Caroline Chepkwony from Kenya with time 01:13:28 and on third place was Filomena Chepchirchir with a time of 01:13:50. Best among the Swedish women was Isabella Andersson, that ran half the marathon on a time of 01:15:17 and finish on fourth place among the women.
