Her name is Jenna Talackova, a 23 year old beauty contestant. She was part of the contestants in the Miss Universe Canada. What would you say if I tell you that this beauty pageant was born a boy?
Jenna had already reached the finals in the Miss Vancouver pageant before she was banned from continuing in the competition after the discovery that she had undergone surgery to become a woman. The organizers immediately disqualified her arguing that the rules state that each contestant must be a “naturally born female.”
Jenna started hormone therapy at the age of 14 and by 19 she underwent sexual re-assignment.
