Jackson Kiprop from Uganda won the Gothenburg race where a total of 64,169 participated from all over the world. He completed the race in 01:03:13. On second place was Peter Kuriu from Kenya and Ghirmay Ghebreslassie from Eritrea came third. Best among the Swedish runners was Mikeal Ekwall and Isabella Andersson.

This was what the Tanzanian Association in Denmark with the acronym “Tanden” started in 2007 with a few students and some Tanzanians living in Denmark. They aimed to unite and bring together all Tanzanians living in Denmark under the same umbrella.
